Among its main features are the construction with hybrid systems such as woodframing, metallic and reinforced concrete, in addition to more than 43 active and passive bioclimatic sustainable strategies that aim to reduce the environmental impact, train qualified workforce in the community and promote health of spaces for its audience with the use of materials with zero toxicity.

The Institute was cited along with projects such as a private school built entirely in bamboo in Bali, Indonesia, and the Tecla project, with clay houses made via 3D printers from raw clay entirely harvested in the Massa Lombarda region in Italy.
