Among its main features are the construction with hybrid systems such as woodframing, metallic and reinforced concrete, in addition to more than 43 active and passive bioclimatic sustainable strategies that aim to reduce the environmental impact, train qualified workforce in the community and promote health of spaces for its audience with the use of materials with zero toxicity.
The Institute was cited along with projects such as a private school built entirely in bamboo in Bali, Indonesia, and the Tecla project, with clay houses made via 3D printers from raw clay entirely harvested in the Massa Lombarda region in Italy. .

Jardim Angela was considered by the UN to be one of the most dangerous places to live. The actions developed by the Institute were able to partially pacify this community and today, they seek to expand through the new headquarters and requalify the surroundings, to present itself as a model to be replicated.

According to Patrícia O'Reilly, author of the project for the new headquarters of the Instituto Favela da Paz, “the project itself and the urban redevelopment of its surroundings generate connections, in addition to establishing a productive dialogue between cooperation and the social and ethical behavior of the community ”.
Patrícia explains that the building and urbanization proposals include, as transformation tools, actions that address the eradication of poverty with training of labor applied in the construction of the building, as a local economic boost, reducing inequality and educating for the implementation of systems hybrid constructions that allow access to a new way of doing things.

The stages of the process and even what will be carried out after its delivery also offer new opportunities for income generation, connection with the public space, and encourage the feeling of belonging to the place in a sustainable way.

People, architecture and urbanism intertwine in the structuring of an integrated complex that establishes a new paradigm in view of the possibilities of interaction that technology offers, providing virtual meetings that celebrate and access an expanded worldview for the also new reality of the planet.
Fundraising for the project has already been launched and meetings will be held with companies that wish to engage with tax and accounting benefits.

R$13 million are needed to carry out the project and the participating companies, more than donors, will be true agents of transformation. For the transparency of the process, all donations will be audited by an international partner company.
